Our Story

The story behind our adventure

A random afternoon, Mike asked me how I’d feel about working while traveling on the road. Are you kidding me?! That sounds like a dream to me! Fast forward a bit, and here we are…living life on the road!

The months, weeks, days and final hours felt like it was never ending with things we needed to do before hitting the road. It definitely became more of a reality on August 15, 2020 , when we bought our new home, a 2020 Keystone Fuzion 427. It has 1.5 Bathrooms | 1 Bedroom| Kitchen/Living Space | 13 ft Garage | Back enclosed Patio. We left our 1200 sqft apartment for our tiny ~400 sqft Tiny Home. November 25, 2020 we picked up our 2020 Diesel Ram 3500 dually. Mike wanted to make sure we had more than enough tow capacity to keep us safe on the road. She tows like a dream, I’m definitely happy with our set up. We continued to spend endless nights doing research and learning all about this new life style living as a minimalist on the road. We reserved our first two months in AZ to start off, wanting to make sure we found a spot that would keep us warm during the winter months. Luckily we booked them early as spaces seemed to book up really quickly!

We had so much to learn and so much to do before hitting the road. We sold our motorcycles almost immediately. His Ducati and my MV Agusta, hoping to one day get ourselves a couple dirt bikes.  We moved a lot of our belongings to storage at our parent’s homes and a few things to our friends places. So thankful for family and friends who are supporting our adventures. And at the very last minute, and I mean the very last day we had to be out of our apartment, he finally sold his 2016 M4 BMW. Yay! What a crazy last day it was. He had to do all the things to get his car sold while we were also moving out. Somehow, through the crazy madness, we managed to get everything done, and out of storage just a few minutes before they locked up on us.

No one said it would be easy, but everyone says its worth it!

With this new adventure starting, we are going to miss family and friends so much and wanted a way to keep everyone up to date, and stay connected with everyone.

This space serves as personal blog for my own memories, and for family & friends who are interested in our Adventures. I plan to keep our Travel Calendar up to date with our reservations. I’ll blog as often as possible to share our memories with you all.
